Small Two Grey Hills Weaving- Measuring 24 inches by 42 inches. This rug has a gray background and chocolate brown designs. Finely woven and in excellent condition.
Early Navajo Weaving ca 1910. Geometric serrated pattern, the background is natural brown and white wool mixed. There is a little red and gold accent colors, other then that it is the natural wool colors. Measuring 45 inches by 70 inches.
Great small Navajo rug could be used for a decorating accent piece. Woven in the 1930's the patina on this weaving is soft in shades of cream, browns and red. A super buy for an authentic hand woven Native American craft.
Generally speaking Navajo rugs do not have fringe! A few exception to the rule are, saddle blankets and Gallup throws. This sweet little weaving probably falls in to the later category. Measuring 17 inches by 30 inches long of hand spun wool in natural colors and a pretty red.
Hand spun wool, geometric style Navajo throw rug weaving. This little rug would make a great accent piece. Measuring 19 inches by 32 inches, this weaving is in excellent condition.
Gorgeous green turquoise and hand made sterling silver beads, some with the squash blossoms attached to them. The large bezel is hand stamped. Patina is given to achieve the classic old style of older Squash Blossom necklaces. Measure 15 inches long with a Naja that is 2 1/2 inches long.
Liberty Silver Coin Squash Necklace. A true piece of history, a traditional Squash Necklace, with coins, coin, coins. The beads are sterling made up of 2 silver Liberty dimes, and the side pieces are sterling Liberty half dollars. A beautiful patina shows the age of the necklace.
Twill Style Runner- Hand spun wool in natural colors of the sheep. This weaving style takes a lot of technical expertise. It is quite complicated, subtle and beautiful. Twills are very thick and were used for saddle blankets and floor rugs, because they will hold up to wear.
Klagetoh style Navajo weaving measuring 23 inches by 29 inches. This style is related to the Ganado regional style, but has a background field color of gray or tan featuring a central diamond shape.
Contemporary Ganado Style Weaving- Beautiful rich red background accented by feather motif, measuring 32 inches by 46 inches.
