Storm Weaving, C1817

Large Storm Weaving- This rug has all the elements of a great Storm rug. The Four sacred mountains, center earth, lightning, feathers, and waterbugs. Rain is essential to the Native people, it brings water for the corn, the stable and one of the four sacred plants of the South west. Woven in the Ganado color scheme, this weaving is close to four feet by six feet.

Papago Basket, CBSM8-1

Flat Papago tray woven with Yucca, Bear Grass and Devil's Claw. The Bear Grass serves as the bones of the coil. The Yucca is split and is the main stitching, the black is the Devils Claw plant and usually makes up the designs in the baskets.

Sioux Fetish, CMRB8-11

Turtle Fetish- Made of leather and blue and white beads. Traditionally used as a gift for newborn children. Usually a turtle was given to girls, and a lizard was given to boys.

Zuni Antler Bird, CRBI7-3

Zuni carving of a bird on a tree with something in it's mouth. It is signed on the bottom, PLUTE ZUNI. The fetish is carved out of antler.

Two Grey Hills,  C2616

This Two Grey Hills rug is 43 inches by 64 inches. Woven in all hand spun wool and edged in a stitching of red. This lovely weaving would be perfect on the wall or the floor.
