Jimmy Poyer call this design his Yei. It is the head of a Yei figure and with stars in the sky. Measuring 2 inches by 1 1/2 inches.
Here is a Hopi belt buckle showing 3 Quails with clouds overhead. The sterling silver buckle measures 3 inches by 2 inches, with a 1 and 3/8 inch clasp. The hallmark on the back is a bird head. The jeweler is Louie Josewytewa, of the Shungopavi village.

Detail-detail-detail. This intricate buckle has it all, stamping, wire work, overlay and 5 set branches of red Coral. There is a makers mark on the back side. The buckle measures 3" long by 2 1/2" wide. The clasp for the belt is 1 1/4".
