Ray Gallegos and his family from Cochiti Pueblo in New Mexico on the Rio Grande, makes these fine drums. Which are hand hewn and stretched. Folks purchase these drums for various purposes, they are going to play them as a musical instrument(sound great), use them to display their fine art on(very durable), or use them as tables and side tables(aesthetically pleasing). moccasin-noun 1- a soft leather slipper or shoe, strictly one without a separate heel, having the sole turned up on all sides and sewn to the upper in a simple gathered seam, in a style originating among North American Indians.2- ORIGIN early 17th cent.: from Virginia Algonquian mockasin. The word is also found in other American Indian languages. These moccasin have been used, probably for special occasions. the condition is very good. All bead work is intact.
Acoma Lady has a pot on her head, her body is a natural gourd and she is decorated with leather and Robert has painted a design on her. The pot on her head is a real Acoma piece of pottery. Robert often uses Native American accents on his fine, one of a kind gourd sculptures. The Lady stands 10 inches tall.
Peyote Prayer Fan- These beautiful American arts and crafts fans are used during dances and at Pow Wow's. Pheasant feathers, seed beads, white deer hide and string is used to create these fans, they also make great objects of art to hang on the wall. Measures 25 inches long and varies in width depending on whether the fan is open or closed.
