Cedar Navajo Cradle Board- is fashioned in the traditional method. Wooden boards and leather sashes are used to tie the baby in the the holder after it is swaddled in blankets. Simple and light weight and the bent wooden head piece is to protect the child's head.

Cradle Boards are a traditional carrier for the babies. The young are swaddled in a blanket and tucked down into the Deer skin pouch and bound up tightly before being put on the back of the Mother. Different tribes make different variations of this same idea.

Heavy gauge sterling concho belt is stamped and raised. Belt buckle is 4 by 2 5/8 inches wide. There are 10 concho that measure 3 by 2 1/2 inches. Leather is 47 1/2 inches long.

Robert often uses Native American accents on his fine, one of a kind gourd sculptures. The Lady stands 10 inches tall.

Erla Graham is a Native Delaware/Sioux, she is known for creating these detailed and decorated dolls. Erla hand carved the body from wood and paints the figures, then they are clothed and decorated with fur, feather, cloth and hair, to authenticate the tribe she is portraying.
