"Shiprock Sunset" Albert Dreher's method of oil wash creates amazing results. This painting comes in two pieces. It measures 24 inches by 48 inches framed and 16 inches by 41 inches unframed.
"Melody of Life" The waterfall in this painting is an excellent addition to his landscape. It measures 16 inches by 16 inches framed and 10 inches by 10 inches unframed.
"At the Edge of Time" This is a remarkably detailed painting. Mr. Dreher uses a remarkable technique and style that is very much his own. this wonderful painting measures 35 inches by 30 inches framed and the image measures 25 inches by 20 inches.
"Remnant of a Dynasty" The kivas and the towering houses are magnificent. This painting measures 19 inches by 24 inches framed and 17 inches by 12 inches.
"Ancient Offerings" The intensity of the vivid colors set Mr. Dreher's work in it's own wonderful category. It measures 21 inches by 30 inches framed and 13 inches by 22 1/2 inches unframed.
"Sacred Paint" An oil painting by Hyrum Joe is a portrait depicting a man with a painted face. Hyrum is a master at creating an expression paying special attention to the eyes of his subjects. This painting measures 10 inches by 7 1/2 inches unframed and 16 inches by 14 inches framed.
"Velvet, Turquoise, and Silk" This lovely oil painting is a portrait of a Navajo woman wearing traditional jewelry and a velvet shirt. It measures 11 1/2 inches by 8 1/2 inches unframed and 17 1/2 inches by 14 1/4 inches framed.
"Trading Day at Waterflow" This painting depicts a man and a woman on horseback at the trading post in Waterflow. It measures 11 1/2 inches by 13 1/2 inches unframed and the 21 inches by 24 inches framed.
"Southern Ute Courting Song" Oil painting by the famous Hyrum Joe depicts a man playing the flute. He is wearing traditional Southern Ute regalia. This painting measures 10 inches by 13 inches unframed and 17 inches by 20 inches framed.
"Fall Brilliance" Aspen trees are one of my favorite subjects. My favorite fall aspen are those trees that have some orange or red leaves in addition to the yellow leaves. This painting is a group of aspen near Ridgway, Colorado, at the peak of the fall colors. This oil painting measures 12 inches by 16 inches.
"Fall Splendor in the High Country" This is a scene near Ridgway, CO. The San Juan mountains combined with the fall colors created a spectacular scene. Mountains are one of my favorite subjects. I was born and raised in the Rocky Mountain West, and the Rocky Mountains are my favorite subject to paint. This is a 14 inch by 18 inch oil painting.
"Winter's Dusting". I based this painting on a plein-air field study painted at Garden of the Gods. It was cold, but the combination of snow and deep red rocks was irresistible. It was late afternoon, and the last bit of sun was shining on the top of the rocks. This oil painting measures 18 inches by 24 inches.
"Vermillion Earth". This painting was based on a plein-air field study completed at Garden of the Gods last summer. Sometimes I like to paint quiet, less noticed parts of the landscape. The color of the soil in this dried up streambed, along with the lines created by the composition drew my interest in this location. This is a 24 inch by 30 inch oil painting.
"Tranquil Waters". This is a scene of the Bitterroot River in Montana. I love painting water. This scene was so beautiful and peaceful, with the many shades of green and reflected light on the water. In addition, this is one of the best fly fishing spots in Montana. This is a 24 inch by 36 inch oil painting.
"Badlands in Bloom" This painting was based on a plein air field study. The last rays of sun were shining on the tops of the rocks in this canyon east of Colorado Springs. I had to paint the study quickly before the sun went below the top of the canyon. The last rays of sun created brilliant colors on the rocks, and the cool north light illuminated the shadows. It measures 30 inches by 40 inches.
