This bolo is Zuni made and is a depiction of an Apache Crown dancer. At the very top it measures 2 inches and at the bottom it measures an inch and a half.
This collectors quality bolo was made by Dennis Edaakie. He is one of the greatest Zuni Silversmiths of all time. This bolo measures 2 1/4 inches by 2 1/4 inches.
This belt buckle is made of sterling silver and stones are denim lapis, malachite, turquoise and jet. It measures 2 1/4 inches by 1 5/8 inches.
Yei spirit figures head is abstracted in the bolo that is inlaid with assorted natural stones and shells. The length of the bolo is 22 inches, the tips are 2 1/4 inches long.
Jimmy Poyer's inlaid buckles and bolos are created all by hand by Poyer in his workshop in Farmington, NM. We see Jimmy often as he hand delivers these pieces to us. The Coriz family is well known in Santo Domingo pueblo for their heishi and inlay work. This inlaid hand has a ring on the finger. These pendants are great on silver beads, or heishi necklaces.
