Ceremonial Jar is a receptacle for fetishes when they are not in use. Traditionally they are made of clay, covered with mud or blood and encrusted with turquoise and housed, fetishes, hair and pollen. This is a replica of a Shaman's hunting or ceremonial vessel for healing and other such to appease the spirits.
The Goat may fall into two categories the livestock animal and game animal. Found as an image on the petroglyph walls and used today for their wool and meat. Goat fetishes are used to increase flocks.

Creatures of the night. Featured is a fabulous carving by Zuni artist Lewis Mallie. Lewis is known for his work in antler. In this intricate piece you can see the antler shape. Two bats with wings spread come up from the base that has a moth on it.

Cochiti Pueblo Effigy Pot- This pot is from the 1920's by an unknown artist from the Cochiti Pueblo. Effigy pottery are earthenware bowls and bottles that incorporated forms of fish, birds, mammals, amphibians and humans.
Designed in the fashion of a Totem Pole from the Northwest Coast. There are three figures, one of them is in the mouth of another, these are often tales of creation and folklore. This pendant or small sculpture, measures 2 and 3/4 inches long. Carved from Walrus tusk and inlaid with abalone.
