Peyote Prayer Fan- These beautiful American arts and crafts fans are used during dances and at Pow Wow's. Pheasant feathers, seed beads, white deer hide and string is used to create these fans, they also make great objects of art to hang on the wall. Measures 25 inches long and varies in width depending on whether the fan is open or closed.
Erla Graham is a Native Delaware/Sioux, she is known for creating these detailed and decorated dolls. Erla hand carved the body from wood and paints the figures, then they are clothed and decorated with fur, feather, cloth and hair, to authenticate the tribe she is portraying. The deer skin is saddle fringe laced, the turquoise is inlaid and the blade is hand forged. An amazing amount of work and talent in each piece.
