By engraving replicas of authentic petroglyphs on natural sandstone, they create tables, wall hangings and plaques. Nature has created the sandstone in amazingly beautiful colors and shapes. All of the furniture pieces are finished with the highest quality stains and sealers in order to provide lasting protection, including protection from coffee and tea stains. Each lodge pole is grooved using hand-fitted joints for strength, and assembled using construction adhesives. Leather straps cover three inch screws that securely hold the rails. The lodge pole bases are fallen, dried forest trees with the bark peeled and can be stained in many colors. Cracks and small checks are characteristic of the natural logs and do not affect the structural integrity of this beautiful furniture. The metal table bases can be finished in bronze, copper patina, verde, antique and copper sulphate.
To create your own custom designed piece, decide on the color of the sandstone, the base (pole or metal) and the type of metal or stain on the base, the petroglyph you want, and leave the rest up to Tiza. Each piece is handcrafted for the highest standards of quality.
The sandstone colors are listed in the images of table styles below.
