Mary Louise Eteeyan is a self taught potter. She learned by observing other potters in her village at Jemez. Mary Louise is known for her beautiful signature Butterfly design, it appears on all her vases and lidded pots. The featured wedding vase is made from the clay she dug on her pueblo. All her pottery is hand work clay, hand coiled, and fired in the traditional manner in an outdoor pit.

Vera Fragua storyteller potter, is from Jemez pueblo. This 4 inch tall figure has a watermelon under each arm, (the favorite snack at Katsina dances by the Kochari clown) there are two mudheads and two children. Vera has a great sense of humor and lots of detail in her work.

Glendora Fragua Daubs is the daughter of Juanita Fragua. They are of the Corn Clan, the very talented family of Jemez potters. This 2 inch egg shaped seed pot is highly detailed, incised sgrafito. Glendora collects her own clay and mineral slips to make and decorate her award winning designs. The lizard and all the geometric designs are perfectly carved, on to a pot that has been fired. This Mimbres lizard has a cabochon of Lapis on its back. Signed with her signature corn stalk with dots on each side.
