Burnham weaver, Sandy Begay, has made another lovely piece - this one is called "Ready for the Fair," and is priced at $1,500.
"Standing in the Garden" is a very large, beautifully executed fine art weaving. It is a painting in wool, and that is hand spun wool and hand dyed wool. The detail and colors are by the hand of an experienced weaver of 30 something years. The figures range in age and gender, they are holding various types of weaving tools. Measuring 59 inches by 40 inches, this is a large Burnham weaving and will making a stunning piece for the wall.
