This lively rabbit's design is from southwest New Mexico's Mimbres people. Almost all their designs are found on what remains of their pottery, and now you can have a beautiful example on high quality paper. This piece is 15 inches by 15 inches, including the 2-1/2 inch mat and frame, priced at $120.
This pink dolomite rabbit carved fetish features inlaid turquoise eye detailing and measures 7/8" in height. Fetishes of game animals, such a the rabbit, are carved to increase the number of animals to hunt for the tribe, and carried to help catch that type of animal on a hunt.
